SACA TO HOST "ARTS OLYMPICS" EVENT

SACA has been planning an "Arts Olympics" event for the past eight months or so. The event is to help foster arts with young kids by exposing them to various art forms. The event will be held this summer at Central Arizona College (Superstition Mountain campus), each child will participate in three different art classes. The event is a mere $15 per child/student and is limited to just 200 kids, so register early by visiting SACAaz.org

Hey all your young aspiring artists. Did the Arts get hacked out your school's curriculum? Get some of it back at this event. The arts are fun and personally fulfilling. I am one of the instructors for this event. Check out this event!

Dear Parents & Kids, May 4, 2009

We believe in other outcomes will be: confidence building, social and communication skills, skill/capacity building, peer learning and experience sharing.

We believe in "soft outcomes," like confidence building, social and communication skills, and capacity building” (p. 74). During the workshops, that peer learning and experience sharing will be major outcomes. From Coutts, Glen, & Jokela, Timo (2008). Art, community and environment: Educational perspectives.
