We believe in other outcomes will be: confidence building, social and communication skills, skill/capacity building, peer learning and experience sharing.

We believe in "soft outcomes," like confidence building, social and communication skills, and capacity building” (p. 74). During the workshops, that peer learning and experience sharing will be major outcomes. From Coutts, Glen, & Jokela, Timo (2008). Art, community and environment: Educational perspectives. I am excited about how active SACA is becoming in promoting the Arts in the greater Apache Junction area!

With the AJ Art Festival of the Superstitions at CAC (Central Arizona College) on February 19 & 20, an Artists of the Future show and dinner at the Boys & Girls club on March 10, the Art Olympics for school age children held at CAC in May and participation in the planning of the focal point and public art for the new AJ downtown area, SACA is strengthening its support of community art and art education.
